Fun fact: if you sew on your patch and flip it over to iron and discover a bit of background showing through, don't panic! Yes, you can add another patch on top or you can embroider something over it, place a piece of lace or other trim over the gap and no one will know! 💖🌞🌵😷

As I am watching this video I was thinking this project would be easy to take with you if you are going on vacation and know you will have some down time. It’s easy to bring your supplies and will fill some of your time and will make for a relaxing vacation. I have always made baskets with a sewing machine. I like this project be cause I can do this in another room and not be in the sewing room by myself.

How do you keep those gorgeous colors from fading? Should I use a spray? I also have a few kinds of acrylic mediums.. Would matt gel medium work or gloss?

Thank you for sharing this. They are beautiful, I tried a different method a couple of years ago , the boiling method, they were not as clear as your steaming method. Red onion skin gave me a blue colour! I will try this. Thank you from England.

I love this bag and your instructions are so detailed! I always shy away from tutorials that show how to make your own pattern, but you really explain in great detail and show everything up close. If I wanted to make an over the shoulder in the medium size bag, how long should I make the straps, I like how the large one looked that you showed at the beginning. Thanks for this easy to follow tutorial!!

Hi there can you please review your instructions listed under the "more" section? They don't match what you show is written on the two pages of your video. Also I can't seem to get all the instructions printed out- wonder if anyone else is having trouble I have printed it three times. Either way there are a few places where the instructions do not mathch- one in particular is the last row of back of head. thanks.
